| QLN Co-Founder and President, Bobbi DePorter, first studied accelerated learning methods with educational pioneer Dr. Georgi Lozanov. These methods are the basis of SuperCamp, which she co-founded in 1981 with Eric Jensen and further developed with Joe Chapon. They found that students are seldom taught learning skills, and that learning how to learn can make a big difference.
SuperCamp is based on concepts that make learning fun and easy, along with positive peer support and carefully orchestrated environmental factors. The use of metaphors such as board breaking and a ropes course help students surpass barriers that hold them back.
The first camp, with 64 students attending, was held in July 1982. Results were so impressive the company grew quickly and the word spread. SuperCamp has graduated over 42,000 students from all 50 states and 70 additional countries.
The company operates under the name QLN, which produces SuperCamp, Quantum Learning Programs and Success Products.
SuperCamp has been featured in the LA Times, Boston Globe, USA Today, Christian Science Monitor, Wall Street Journal and many other major publications.
